This baked cinnamon apple recipe is healthy, cheap, and easy to make. You can eat it as a snack, a dessert, or dice the apples into smaller pieces and stir them into oatmeal for breakfast. Ingredients:
1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced (I used Gala) 1 tablespoon of apple juice or water (I used light apple juice) ½ teaspoon brown sugar ¼ teaspoon cornstarch ¼ teaspoon cinnamon Directions: 1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees. 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the apple juice (or water), brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. 3. Spray a piece of aluminum foil, or a small baking dish, with cooking spray. Place the apples onto the foil or dish, and pour the cinnamon mixture over the apples, tossing gently to coat. 4. Bake for 30 minutes and serve immediately.
